


ChildServ's group homes offer a therapeutic environment within the communities of Downers Grove, Lisle and Naperville for adolescents who are in need of placement outside their family homes. The three DuPage County homes provide both emergency-respite and long-term care for youth whose problems require an extended period for resolution. Each group home has a capacity for six residents. The Downers Grove and Naperville homes serve adolescent females and the Lisle home serves adolescent males.

Outcomes:
ChildServ's Transitional Living Program is designed to address the need of adolescents who are wards of the state of Illinois to learn to become functioning adult members of society. The TLP includes apartments which are staffed twenty-four hours a day. Dedicated staff at ChildServ who are skilled in teaching life skills and independence provide the necessary guidance and support to prepare the youth for successful community living.
